Ingredients

1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 pkg or 16 oz Swiss Chard, chopped (recommend separating stems from leaves and cooking stems longer)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup water
1 bottle (8 oz) Vegetable Simmer Sauce (Produce Dept) ( or tomato paste, veggie stock, and butter or buttermilk )

You'll Need: Stir fry pan

Directions

  1. Drizzle oil around sides of stir-fry pan; tilt pan to distribute evenly. Heat oil in pan on HIGH until oil faintly smokes. (If oil smokes too much, pan is too hot.)

  2. Add half of chard stirring and tossing until it begins to wilt. Add remaining chard, season with salt and pepper. Stir and toss, keeping things moving, 2-3 min.

  3. Add  water; cook, stirring, 5-8 min, until chard is tender and water has evaporated.

  4. Stir in sauce. Cook, stirring, 2-3 min, until heated through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
